Hot air to happy endings report

In 2010 Green Alliance published From hot air to happy endings - a series of essays exploring how politicians could inspire stronger public support for a low carbon society by communicating better.

Bringing together leading commentators, the pamphlet looks first at what's wrong with the way politicians have communicated about climate change to date; this includes a discussion of the Act on CO2 campaign and of the way environmental problems are framed. A series of experts then suggest different ways - from setting out a vision of the future, to promoting visible change - that government could communicate better.
